About Us

Paradise Kennels is owned by Rob and Dea Williams.  Before starting Paradise Kennels they owned a successful thoroughbred racehorse-training center in Oklahoma.  Rob, a Hall of Fame jockey, rode racehorses for over 35 years before they opened the training center.  Dea was a racehorse trainer and owner for 10 years. 

After bringing their first poodle home over six years ago, they fell in love with the breed’s intelligence, loyalty and beauty.  Migrating over to Labradors and Doodles was a natural transition because all three breeds share similar traits. 

In horse racing there is a saying “You can’t outrun your breeding.”  This means you can only be as good as your DNA. Believing the same principle is true for dogs, they have taken all the lessons learned in thoroughbred racing and applied them to their carefully chosen dogs.  With great thought and care, they match them to bring out the highest quality in their puppies.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We personally raised our dogs from eight weeks old.  This ensures that they have had the best healthcare, grooming, love and attention.  Giving them the best produces excellent health and loving personalities.
