About Paradise Kennels

Paradise Kennels is located on a beautiful and peaceful family farm in Hermitage, Tennessee.  Our dogs have seven fenced acres to run and play.  They also enjoy running behind our Gator on another 14 acres.

The dogs are part of our family.  It is our full time job to meet not only their physical needs, but also their emotional and social needs by interacting with them.  Our dogs have sweet, loyal temperaments.  They have great personalities because of all the time we spend interacting with them. 

We have three breeding males and eight females.  We have carefully selected the highest quality dogs to ensure the best experiences for their future families.  At Paradise Kennels, we provide only the highest quality food, ultra clean kennels  and socialization to provide the healthiest, happiest puppies possible.

About Us

Paradise Kennels is owned by Rob and Dea Williams.  Before starting Paradise Kennels they owned a successful thoroughbred racehorse-training center in Oklahoma.  Rob, a Hall of Fame jockey, rode racehorses for over 35 years before they opened the training center.  Dea was a racehorse trainer and owner for 10 years. 

After bringing their first poodle home over six years ago, they fell in love with the breed’s intelligence, loyalty and beauty.  Migrating over to Labradors and Doodles was a natural transition because all three breeds share similar traits. 

In horse racing there is a saying “You can’t outrun your breeding.”  This means you can only be as good as your DNA. Believing the same principle is true for dogs, they have taken all the lessons learned in thoroughbred racing and applied them to their carefully chosen dogs.  With great thought and care, they match them to bring out the highest quality in their puppies.

OUR PHILOSOPHY

We personally raised our dogs from eight weeks old.  This ensures that they have had the best healthcare, grooming, love and attention.  Giving them the best produces excellent health and loving personalities.

Labrador Retrievers

All our labs are AKC/CKC registered.  Labradors are the number one breed registered with the AKC since 1992.  Our labs are loving, loyal, outgoing and friendly.  They are bred to make excellent family and children’s dogs.  They are beautiful with amazing conformation.  Our dogs also have field trial and hunting championships in their bloodlines.  They are perfect all-around dogs.

Labradoodles

The absolute best of two amazing breeds in one package.  All our labradoodles are CKC registered.  This breed is extremely smart and easy to train.  They do not shed and make great family pets. All of our puppies are bred to be beautiful, loving companions that enhance your life with the love and attention you give them.

Standard and mini Poodles

Standard Poodles have been listed in the top 10 AKC breed for the last six years running.  All our Standards have AKC/CKC registration.  These poodles are athletic and graceful.  They do not shed, making them a great indoor pet.  They adore their people and make terrific companions.

Goldendoodles are wonderful dogs. Very loyal and loving. Perfect for an active person or family. They live to play, run and swim. All our Goldendoodles are CKC registered.
